Meet Jenny Geselevich, LPCC
Hi I’m Jenny!
I’m a passionate therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families. The populations I gravitate most towards include those impacted by neurodivergent conditions (mostly autism) or medical traumas, such as a family member diagnosed with cancer or other medical conditions. I am trained in EMDR, EFT, and CBT. These modalities have allowed me to help my clients achieve their goals, provide hope and support, and get them to a place of healing and acceptance.
Relationships within couples and families are complex and takes work. Whether it’s learning new ways to communicate, working through negative cycles, repairing a break in trust, adapting to grief, understanding your triggers, shifting your parenting style, or restructuring your relationship or family dynamic to meet the needs of each member, I got you. I provide a safe space that is free of judgment and will meet you where you are. I value the connection between couples and a family dynamic and want to support your system to function as best as possible.
Life is a journey with many twists and turns. We do not always end up where we thought we would be, and many times, things have left hurt or pain in our lives along the way. I know this from my own experience. As a mom of 3 kids, one of which is a multiple relapsed cancer survivor and autistic and the other who is twice exceptional (gifted/autistic), I have had to find myself grieving what I thought my life would look like and learning to accept the life I have been given and find the beauty that lies within that. This added many different traumas throughout my childhood and helped make me who I am today, and I desire to help those who find themselves suffering. I am here to walk beside you in your journey and to help overcome any emotional scars that may have been left and are preventing you from moving forward.
