LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR AND NATIONAL CERTIFIED COUNSELOR

I believe that everyone, especially those from marginalized communities, deserves culturally attuned and compassionate care.

  • I work with individuals, couples, and non-monogamous partners who are seeking support in navigating relationships, intimacy, identity exploration, and mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergence. As a queer, Mexican-American woman, I am passionate about serving LGBTQIA+ individuals/couples/polyamorous partnerships, marginalized individuals/couples, and co-parents who are adjusting to new family dynamics. I create a space where all identities and experiences are affirmed, ensuring clients feel supported as they work toward growth and healing.

  • My specialties include couples counseling, sex therapy, and ketamine-assisted therapy. I take a trauma-informed, sex-positive, and culturally sensitive approach to help clients work through intimacy issues, relationship dynamics, anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and identity exploration. I also support co-parents in fostering healthy communication and collaboration. My goal is to create a shame-free space where individuals and partners can foster deeper connections, gain clarity, and experience healing and empowerment.

  • With over 16 years of experience, I have worked extensively with some of Denver’s most vulnerable populations, deepening my passion for advocacy and mental health care in marginalized communities. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology from Metropolitan State University while raising my 3 children as a single parent and later obtained my master’s degree in counseling from Palo Alto University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), I integrate evidence-based approaches with a culturally attuned and affirming lens, ensuring each client receives personalized and effective care.
